1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of WeCert London’s services and website. By engaging with our services or using our website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
2. Definitions
“WeCert London”: Refers to the company providing electrical certification services.
“Client”: Refers to the individual or business engaging our services.
“Services”: Includes but is not limited to EICR Reports, PAT Testing, Fire Alarm Certificates, and Emergency Lighting Certificates.
“Certificate”: The official document issued after inspection, testing, or certification.
3. Scope of Services
WeCert London provides electrical certification services in compliance with UK regulations, including:
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
Fire Alarm Certificates
Emergency Lighting Certificates
All work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and other relevant standards.
Services are available to both domestic and commercial clients in London and surrounding areas.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client must provide access to the property or equipment for inspection and testing.
The client must disclose any known electrical issues or hazards prior to the service.
The client is responsible for ensuring the property is safe for our engineers to work in.
Payment must be made in full as per the agreed terms unless otherwise stated.
5. Pricing and Payment
Prices for services will be provided in advance and are subject to change based on the scope of work.
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless a prior agreement is in place.
Late payments may incur additional charges.
6. Certificates and Reports
Certificates and reports will be issued upon successful completion of the service and full payment.
Certificates are valid for the period specified by UK regulations (e.g., EICR certificates are typically valid for 5 years for domestic properties and 3 years for commercial properties).
WeCert London is not responsible for any changes in regulations that may affect the validity of the certificate after issuance.
7. Limitations of Liability
WeCert London will not be held liable for any pre-existing electrical issues that are not identified during the inspection.
WeCert London is not responsible for any damage caused by faulty electrical systems or appliances that were not part of the service provided.
Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
8. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
9. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us within 7 days of the service date.
WeCert London will investigate and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of English courts.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
